If an Induction motor takes 12kWh power at 0.99 (lag) power factor from the AC source and runing time 4 hours. Calculate the KW of the motor.


Answer

Where,
E = 12KWh , Pf = 0.99,T = 4 hours

We Know
P (W) = E1000 x KWh / Thrs
P (W) = 1000 x 12 /4
P(W) = 3000
W =3000



For Example 02

If an Induction cooker takes 125KWh and runing time 10 hours. Calculate the W of the Induction cooker .

Where,
E = 125KWh ,T = 10 hours

We Know
P (W) = E1000 x KWh / Thrs
P (KW) = 1000 x 125 /10
P(W) = 12500
W =12500


For Example 03

What is the W of 25 KWh for 6.5 hours?


Answer

Where,
E = 25KWh ,T = 6.5 hours

We Know
P (KW) = E1000 x KWh / Thrs
P (W) = 1000 x 25 /6.5
P(W) =3846.16
W =3846.16
