Convert Kilo-Watts (KW) to kilo-wattshours (KWh) Calculation

To convert KW to KWh , Please provide the values below:

KW To KWh Calculator

To calculate Kilo-Watts(KW) to kilowattshours(KWh) , use the following formula:

The energy (E) in kilowatt-hours(KWh) is equal to the power (P) consumed in Kilo-watts (KW) times the time (T) in hours(Hrs)

KW to KWh Formula

For Example 01

If an Induction motor takes 1.2KW power at 0.99 (lag) power factor from the AC source and runing time 6 hours. Calculate the KWh of the motor.

Answer

Where,
power P = 1.2KW , Pf = 0.99,T = 6 hours

We Know
E (KWh) = PKW x Thrs
E (KWh) = 1.2 x 6
E (KWh) = 7.199
KWh = 7.199

For Example 02

If an Induction cooker takes 3KW power and runing time 2 hours. Calculate the KWh of the Induction cooker .

Answer

Where,
power P = 3KW , T = 2 hours

We Know
E (KWh) = PKW x THrs
E (KWh) = 3 x 2
E (KWh) = 6
KWh = 6

For Example 03

What is the kWh of 25 KW watts for 6 hours?

Answer

Where,
power P = 25KW , T = 6 hours

We Know
E (KWh) = PKW x THrs
E (KWh) = 25 x 6
E (KWh) = 150
KWh = 150

Frequently Asked Questions:
What do you convert KW to KWh for ?

One kilowatt-hour (KWh) is equal to one Kilo-Watts(KW) for one hour

What is AC Circuit 10KW,one hours in KWh ?

10 kilowatt-hours (KWh)

What is AC Circuit 50 Kilo-Watts (KW),6 hrs in Kilowatts-hours (KWh)?

A watt changes depending on whether the electrical circuit is AC or DC. In a DC circuit, 500 VA is the equivalent of 300 KWh. This equivalence means that the power factor of that power supply is 0.95.

What is the formula for Kilo-watts (KW) to kilo Watts-hours (KWh) ?

Energy (KWh) = Active Power (KW) x Time (hrs)

If 15 Kilo-Watts (KW) is 2 hours , how much is KWh?

30 Kilowatt-hours (KWh)

If 50 Kilo-Watts (KW) is 6 hours , how much is KWh?

300 Kilowatt-hours (KWh)

If 11 Kilo-Watts (KW) is 6 hours , how much is KWh?

66 Kilowatt-hours (KWh)

If 35 Kilo-Watts (KW) is 5 hours , how much is KWh?

175 Kilowatt-hours (KWh)

If 25 Kilo-Watts (KW) is 2 hours , how much is KWh?

50 Kilowatt-hours (KWh)

If 6 Kilo-Watts (KW) is 4 hours , how much is KWh?

24 Kilowatt-hours (KWh)
