We Know

S _{(KW) } = 125 x 0.99 /1000

S _{(KW) } = 0.12375

Kw = 0.12375

If an Induction motor takes 1500VA power at 0.95 (lag) power factor from the AC source. Calculate the KW rating of the motor.

__Answer__

Where,

power P = 1500VA , Pf = 0.95

We Know

S _{ (KW) } = P_{VA } x Pf /1000

S _{(KW) } = 1500 x 0.95

S _{(KW) } = 1.425

KW = 1.425
