How to make an Adjustable output regulator using LM741 IC | LM7805

Adjustable output regulator (7V-30V) power supply regulator.

This is a simple Adjustable output regulator power supply circuit diagram. In this circuit, an input positive voltage of 32V can be used, with an output positive voltage of 7V to 30V. This power supply can drive positive 7v to 30v, 1amp, and 15-watt devices. It can be used as a 15 watt device. This power supply uses a voltage regulator lm7805 and LM741 IC. DC to DC voltage can be converted through this circuit. This is called a stop-down positive power supply.

A Voltage Regulator is an integrated circuit (IC). The voltage regulator provides constant output voltage even if its load or input voltage changes.LM7805 is a monolithic 3-terminal positive voltage regulator. LM7805 has an input voltage of 7V to 20v and an output voltage of 4.8v to 5.2v constant. The maximum output current is 1A. It has internal thermal shutdown, short-circuit and SOA protection, and an output capacitance of 0.5 pF.

  5. LM741 Operational Amplifier
  6. LM741 Black Diagram

The LM741 is an operational amplifier (op-amp) integrated circuit that has been widely used in analog electronic circuits for many years. An op-amp, an operational amplifier, is short for devices that amplify, filter, or perform mathematical operations on voltages and currents. It is part of the LM741 series of op-amps and is versatile and performs various analog signal processing tasks. It has two inputs, one called inverting input and the other non-inverting input and a output. The LM741 can operate with single or dual power supply voltages. The output voltage is proportional to the difference between the two input voltages, multiplied by a factor called gain. Gain can be controlled using external resistors and capacitors in various configurations, such as voltage follower, inverting amplifier, non-inverting amplifier, summing amplifier, integrator, differentiator, etc.

  7. 10k ohm Variable Resistor
  8. Variable Resistor 10k

A resistor is a component that resists the flow of electricity in a circuit. It is used to control the amount of current, voltage, or signal level in various applications. The unit of resistance is ohm (Ω). A resistance that can be changed is called a variable resistance. It is called a potentiometer, rheostat. It has three terminals, two terminals are fixed and the other is variable. The resistance of the two terminals is also fixed, the resistance can be changed with the other terminal. It works by electrical and mechanical combination. It is widely used in electronic circuits. Variable resistors are of different sizes and of different quality. Microcontrollers are used as analog signals.
