We Know

V (V) = 230
Voltage = 230 V



For Example 02

If an single phase Induction motor takes 15amp and real power 5KW at 0.9 (lag) power factor . Calculate the voltage of the motor.


Answer

Where,
I= 12amps ,P = 5KW,pf=0.9

We Know
V (V) = 1000 x P(KW) ÷ I(A) x pf
V(V) = 1000 x 5 ÷ 12 x 0.9
V (V) = 370.37
Voltage = 370.37 V



For Example 03

If an three phase Induction motor takes 10amp and real power 10KW at 0.92 (lag) power factor . Calculate the line to line voltage of the motor.


Answer

Where,
I= 10amps ,P = 10KW,pf=0.92

We Know
V (V) = 1000 x P(KW) ÷ √3 x I(A) x pf
V(V) = 1000 x 10÷ √3 x 10 x 0.92
V (V) = 627.55
Voltage = 627.55 V
