P in Watts (W) divided by the current I in amps (A).**

If an DC motor takes 12amp and real power 2760W . Calculate the voltage of the motor.

__Answer__

Where,

I= 12amps ,P = 2760W

We Know

V _{ (V) } = P_{(W) }÷ I_{(A) }

V_{(V) } = 2760 ÷ 12

V _{(V) } = 230

Voltage = 230 V

__For Example 02__

If an single phase Induction motor takes 15amp and real power 5000W at 0.9 (lag) power factor . Calculate the voltage of the motor.

__Answer__

Where,

I= 12amps ,P = 5000W,pf=0.9

We Know

V _{ (V) } = P_{(W) }÷ I_{(A) } x pf

V_{(V) } = 5000÷ 12 x 0.9

V _{(V) } = 370.37

Voltage = 370.37 V

__For Example 03__

If an three phase Induction motor takes 10amp and real power 10000W at 0.92 (lag) power factor . Calculate the line to line voltage of the motor.

__Answer__

Where,

I= 10amps ,P = 10000W,pf=0.92

We Know

V _{ (V) } = P_{(W) }÷ √3 x I_{(A) } x pf

V_{(V) } = 10000÷ √3 x 10 x 0.92

V _{(V) } = 627.55

Voltage = 627.55 V
