Where,

We Know

S _{(KW) } = 125 X 0.99

S _{(KW) } = 123.75

Kw = 12.3.75

If an Induction motor takes 15KVA power at 0.95 (lag) power factor from the AC source. Calculate the KW rating of the motor.

__Answer__

Where,

power P = 15KVA , Pf = 0.95

We Know

S _{ (KW) } = P_{KVA } X Pf

S _{(KW) } = 15 X 0.95

S _{(KW) } = 14.55

Kw = 14.55
