If an DC motor takes 12amp and voltage 230V . Calculate the kilo-watts of the motor.

Where,
I= 12amps ,V = 230v
We Know
P (KW) = V(V) x I(A) ÷ 1000
P(KW) = 230 x 12 ÷ 1000
P (KW) = 2.760
P = 2.760 KW
For Example 02
If an single phase Induction motor takes 15A and voltage 380V at 0.99 (lag) power factor from the AC source and runing time 6 hours. Calculate the real power (KW) of the motor.

Where,
I= 15amps ,V = 380v ,pf=.99
We Know
P (KW) = V(V) x I(A) x pf ÷ 1000
P(KW) = 380 x 15 x 0.99 ÷ 1000
P (KW) = 5.643
P = 5.643 KW
For Example 03
If an three phase Induction motor takes 25A and lone to line voltage 400V at 0.94 (lag) power factor from the AC source and runing time 6 hours. Calculate the real power (KW) of the motor.

I= 25amps ,V = 400v ,pf=0.94
We Know
P (KW) = √3 x V(V) x I(A) x pf ÷ 1000
P(KW) = √3 x 400 x 25 x 0.94 ÷ 1000
P (KW) = 16.281
P = 16.281 KW
